Please read this Disclaimer carefully before using the Hoop Lab online basketball skill drills and strength training platform at hooplabstraining.com (the “Service”), operated by Landon Cunningham / Hoop Labs from Prince George, British Columbia, Canada.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept this Disclaimer. It should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. Not medical advice
The Service provides general basketball skill drills, strength training content, and related educational material for informational and training purposes only.
Nothing on the Service is medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy, athletic therapy, or any other professional health advice.
- We are not your doctor, physiotherapist, trainer with a clinical mandate, or other regulated health professional through this platform.
- Content is not a substitute for advice from a qualified health care provider.
- Always seek professional medical advice before starting, changing, or continuing any exercise or training program, especially if you have an injury, illness, disability, or other medical condition, or if you are pregnant or recovering from surgery.
- If you experience pain, dizziness, chest pain, unusual shortness of breath, or other warning signs while training, stop immediately and seek appropriate medical care.
2. Injury and physical activity risk
Basketball training, skill drills, strength training, conditioning, and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Muscle strains, sprains, and overuse injuries
- Joint, tendon, and ligament injuries
- Falls, collisions (in on-court settings), and impact injuries
- Aggravation of existing conditions
- In rare cases, serious injury
You participate voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for:
- Using proper technique and appropriate equipment
- Training in a safe environment
- Knowing your own limits and progressing gradually
- Following any guidance from your health professionals or coaches
- Supervising minors appropriately (see Section 4)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Landon Cunningham / Hoop Labs is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service or your participation in recommended or suggested activities.
Limitation language versus Canadian personal injury / negligence rules should be reviewed by counsel.
3. No guaranteed results
We do not guarantee any particular outcome from using the Service, including but not limited to improved shooting, ball-handling, athleticism, strength, or game performance; specific fitness or skill milestones; selection for teams or scholarships; or prevention or cure of injury.
Results vary based on effort, consistency, prior experience, genetics, coaching outside the platform, recovery, nutrition, and many other factors outside our control.
4. Age and guardian notes
- If you are under the age of majority in your province or territory, a parent or legal guardian should review this Disclaimer, the Terms of Use, and the Privacy Policy with you and supervise your training as appropriate.
- Guardians are responsible for deciding whether the content is suitable for the minor in their care and for ensuring safe participation.
- We do not knowingly encourage unsupervised high-risk training by young children.
Clear minimum age and parental consent requirements should be set before launch.
5. Equipment, facilities, and third parties
- You are responsible for the condition and suitability of any equipment, footwear, court, gym, or home training space you use.
- We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party coaches, facilities, leagues, or other users you may interact with through optional social features.
- Optional shared session progress is private by default; sharing does not create any coaching relationship or duty of care beyond what the law already requires.
6. Content accuracy and updates
We strive to keep training content useful and up to date, but we do not warrant that all drills, cues, or programs are complete, current, or appropriate for every individual. Use your judgment and professional guidance where needed.
7. Limitation and related documents
This Disclaimer works together with the warranty disclaimers and limitation of liability in our Terms of Use. Nothing here is intended to exclude rights or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian law.
